My Story

Katie's Cakes and Catering began in 1993 in a  small apartment kitchen:   but, the story began many years before.  As a young girl in her Granmothers kitchen in Havana, Florida  is where the love affair began.  The aroma of fresh baked cakes lingered through the halls of the old farm house in the early morning hours.  The cakes cooled and the decorating began. I watched my Grandmother create beautiful Wedding Cakes for Brides in Gadsden County.  Fast forward 15 years and I began creating  delicious cakes, cupcakes, sweets and catering meals for friends getting married, having babies, parties and any other social or work  event!   I am self taught with continuing education yearly at large cake shows with individual instructional classes. 

Then,  I expanded the business to  include catering.  I love creating new and festive foods with a culinary flare.   My staff and I  have the capability to fry and/or grill foods on-site.  Our menus are customized   to our clients wants and needs.    We are located at 108 E, 7th Ave.
